Who is responsible

• Account details: your email address and password (stored securely).
• Listing details you provide: name, address, phone, fax, email, website and description. These are shown publicly.
• Messages patients send through a profile, including their name, email and phone. These go to the practice and to us.
• Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We do not see or store card numbers.

How we use it

To run the directory, deliver patient messages, verify listing claims, provide the SEO Package, and send account and billing emails. We may contact practices about their listing.

Legal basis

• Contract: to provide your account, listing and any SEO Package you buy.
• Legitimate interests: to run and secure the directory, prevent fraud and spam, deliver patient messages and improve the Site.
• Consent: for optional emails or cookies, where required. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation: where we must keep or disclose records by law.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that run the Site (hosting, email delivery, Stripe for payments) or when required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep account and listing information while your account is active. Patient messages are kept for up to 2 years. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls that limit private data to authorised staff, and secure hosting providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will act promptly on any incident.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in and run checkout. You can clear them in your browser settings.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your listing from "My profiles," or email us to delete your account. You may also ask to access, correct or export your information, or object to how we use it. We respond within 30 days.
